Lars-Eric Uneståhl, PhD. the Founder and President of Scandinavian International University – SIU, is a great source of inspiration to many people.
Dr. Uneståhl developed Mental Training over a period of many years, and over 5 000 students have completed his unique distance learning course – Personal Development through Mental Training – PUMT.
Mental Training Sweden AB, has been given the privilege, by Dr. Uneståhl, to introduce PUMT to the international community, i.e. to many more countries and in multiple languages. The first language for PUMT to be translated into is English. In its English version it is called Uneståhl Mental Training ® – UMT ®.
MTS offers distance education to the international community. We are proud and pleased to have been given the rights by Dr. Uneståhl to be fully responsible for UMT®. It is a privilege to work with a course that has brought so many positive changes to so many people´s lives.
Mental Training Sweden AB will:

INTERNATIONAL UNITS (IU) AND COMPETENCES
SIU is a private university, and as such is a part of the “International units (IU) system. IU is linked to an international method of evaluating studies. The international rating systems for academic study are based on quantitative assessments. One IU is a day of full-time studies. The Swedish governmental system has adapted to the European (Bologna Agreement). UMT® provides 100 IU, which corresponds to 30 higher education credits.
CAN IU BE COMBINED WITH HIGHER EDUCATION CREDITS?
In Sweden, training will be evaluated by the institution that you apply to. UMT® training has been converted to the points used in the Swedish educational system at some educational institutions, but not at others. It should be noted, that for a three-year period, the training course was a 20-point course at the University of Örebro and the examiner is the same today. But with that said, it is important to remember that institutions individually assess courses that they feel are eligible to receive credits.
